Teens and the Moral Demise of our World
It would be nice to think you are raising a teenager who will never touch drugs and never ever take a sip of alcohol. It’s possible you even believe your child when never take drugs, drink or smoke. You probably believe they will wait until their married before they share their first kiss let alone anything else so here’s just a quick news flash for parents with their heads in the clouds. Your teenager will probably smoke their first cigarette by the time they are 13, maybe 14. They will have been introduced to pot by then and possibly Loratabs. Depending on the area where you live, your teen will see methamphetamines sometime before their 16th birthday and will likely see it by the time they celebrate their 13th birthday. And alcohol sounds pretty good compared to meth and loratabs but let’s not kid one another. Alcohol is old school because kids today take their first sip in the 5th or 6th grade. There is not only an epidemic but now it’s a pandemic. The youth today are into more mischief, more meanness and it is the parents faults because the generation who have the children approaching teenage years are the parents who were the stoners and coke heads themselves. If this sounds harsh—oh well, it’s only the truth. The moral demise of this country is going to continue to worsen if parents don’t grab a hold of their teenagers and make them understand what it means to have their stomachs pumped because of an accidental overdose. Teens are going to die at higher rates than ever before thanks to a drug called X or ecstasy. Teens and children are going to die because of methamphetamines either because they use or because they are hit by a car driven by someone strung out on meth having a meth delusion. And parents will keep their heads high above the crowd stating to themselves and other parents that their kids won’t do it because they are good kids. Sure, everyone knows about good kids. In fact, you can do a keyword search on Google or any other search engine to find out more about a good kid who was introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Meth. The poem is online. Pull it sometime when you want to read all about the truth of drugs and the moral demise of our country. Pull the one poem every teenager in the world should be required to read on a weekly basis. The poem is powerful and more than a little thought provoking. It’s the truth about the horrible drug taking away our kids. Meet Mr. and Mrs. Meth online through a key word search and you’ll see why parents must begin to control their teens again. It’s a matter of life and death.
